Toluene diisocyanate is an organic compound with the formula CH2
. They are used to produce polyurethane foams for insulation, packaging and furniture. They are also used to make adhesives, sealants and polyurethane coatings for metal products and leather. Properties Toluene diisocyanates exist at room temperature as a clear, colorless to pale-yellow liquid with a pungent odor.
